A full-on ski touring experience. This trip has been designed to tackle as many volcanoes as possible. A basic concept of ski touring techniques will be an advantage. This tour is geared towards those looking to ski the maximum possible number of volcanoes, aiming for 10 volcano ascents. The climbing part of the tours will vary between 3-5 hours.

Travel Info
Day 1
Your guide will meet you at Santiago airport. Transfer to hotel. Walking tour of Santiago.
Day 2
Transfer by road to Las Trancas near the Chillán volcanoes. Avalanche-awareness talk.
Day 3
Chillán Nuevo volcano 3,186m. Enjoy the fine views and get a glimpse of tomorrow’s activity. Ski descent 1,600m.
Day 4
Nevados de Chillán volcano 3,212m. Ski down the beautiful Valley of Shangri La with stunning scenery. Ski descent 1,700m.
Day 5
Transfer to Malalcahuello near Lonquimay volcano. Drive through Ercilla, Victoria and Curacautín, all with interesting histories. Witness the beautiful and ancient forests of the Araucaria tree.
Day 6
Lonquimay volcano 2,890m: a place of outstanding natural beauty, with its snowcapped crater offering amazing views of its neighbouring volcanoes. Ski descent 1,400m.
Day 7
Tolhuaca volcano 2,806m, reached though beautiful Araucaria forest and small lakes. The ascent offers views of Lonquimay, Llaima, Sierra Nevada and others. Ski descent 1,400m.
Day 8
Llaima volcano 3,125m within Conguillio National Park, one of the most active volcanoes in the whole of the Andes. Ski descent 1,600m. Drive to Pucón.
Day 9
Free day in Pucón; optional activities available include horse riding, tree top canopy, spas & hot springs.
Day 10
From Ski Pucón ski area up to Villarrica volcano 2,847m. Ski descent of 1,600m with stunning views of Villarrica lake, the towns of Pucón and Villarrica.
Day 11
Quetrupillán volcano 2,300m. Climb though Araucaria and southern beech forest cumulating at the flat and huge crater. Transfer to Neltume.
Day 12
Mocho and Choshuenco volcanoes 2,422m & 2,415 in the middle of a private reserve. We will head first to Mocho and then to Choshuenco. Ski descent 900m.
Day 13
Transfer to Puerto Varas in the heart of the Chilean Lake District. Drive though the picturesque villages of Choshuenco and Panguipulli. We then hit the Panamericana Sur with many volcanoes visible on a clear day.
Day 14
Osorno volcano 2,652m. A scenic drive along the southern shores of Llanquihue lake will take us to the ski area. The views from the summit are fantastic – on a nice day you can see the Pacific fjords and open sea, the island of Chiloe, the big Llanquihue and Todos Los Santos lakes along with another half a dozen volcanoes. Return to Puerto Varas
Day 15
Morning transfer to Puerto Montt airport.
